1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser or device when you visit a website. On subsequent visits, the website can read them and recognise, for example, your settings, technical preferences or consent to the use of cookies.
Other technologies may serve a similar function, such as local browser storage, session storage, pixels, tags or device identifiers. In this policy, we use the term “cookies” to also refer to these similar technologies where they are used to store or access information on your device.
2. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies primarily for the following purposes:
- ensuring the basic operation of the website,
- storing your cookie preferences,
- technical operation and security of the website,
- measuring website traffic and usage through Google Analytics, only if you give consent,
- improving the content, structure and user experience of the website.
We do not use advertising, remarketing or social tracking cookies, unless expressly stated in this policy or in the cookie settings.
3. Legal Basis for Using Cookies
The use of cookies is governed primarily by Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications, the GDPR and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data.
3.1 Essential Cookies
We may use essential cookies without your consent where they are technically necessary for the operation of the website or for the provision of a service you have explicitly requested.
These cookies are required in particular for:
- displaying the website,
- storing your cookie preferences,
- ensuring technical operation,
- protection against misuse,
- proper functioning of basic website elements.
The legal basis for processing personal data through essential cookies is primarily our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in the secure and functional operation of the website.
3.2 Analytics Cookies
We use analytics cookies only on the basis of your consent.
The legal basis for processing personal data through analytics cookies is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Consent is voluntary. If you do not give consent, the website will remain functional, but we will not be able to measure its traffic and usage through Google Analytics.
You may withdraw or change your consent at any time through the cookie settings on the website.
4. Categories of Cookies We Use
We use the following categories of cookies on the website:
| Category | Status | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Essential cookies | always active | basic website operation, storing cookie preferences, technical security |
| Analytics cookies | only after consent | traffic measurement, website usage statistics, improving content and user experience |
The website does not currently use a separate category of marketing or advertising cookies.
If we begin using marketing, advertising or remarketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and such cookies will only be activated on the basis of the relevant user consent.
5. Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are required for the website to function correctly. Without these cookies, some parts of the website may not work or it may not be possible to remember your cookie settings.
| Cookie name | Provider | Purpose | Retention period | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ve-cookie-consent | VisionEdge s. r. o. | storing your cookie choice and settings | 1 year | essential |
The ve-cookie-consent cookie is used to remember whether you have accepted, declined or individually configured optional cookies. This prevents the cookie banner from appearing on every page load.
Essential cookies cannot be disabled through the cookie settings on the website. However, you can delete or block them in your browser settings. In that case, the website may not function correctly and the cookie banner may reappear repeatedly.
6. Analytics Cookies – Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic.
Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the website, which pages they visit, how long they stay, where they come from and how they interact with the site.
We use this information to:
- measure website traffic,
- evaluate website usage,
- improve website content and structure,
- technical optimisation,
- improve user experience.
Google Analytics is activated on our website only after consent to analytics cookies is given.
If you do not consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics will not be activated for analytics purposes.
7. Cookies Used by Google Analytics
If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics may use in particular the following cookies:
| Cookie name | Provider | Purpose | Default retention period | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | distinguishing individual users | 2 years | analytics |
_ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | maintaining session state and data for a specific analytics service | 2 years | analytics |
The name of the _ga_<container-id> cookie may vary depending on the specific Google Analytics container identifier or measurement ID used on the website.
If Google Analytics is connected to Google Ads or other advertising services in the future, additional cookies may be used. Such cookies will not be used without the relevant consent and this policy will be updated.
8. Data Google Analytics May Process

- anonymised or pseudonymised identifiers,
- information stored in analytics cookies.
We do not use this data to individually identify website visitors.
We do not use Google Analytics for advertising profiling, remarketing or personalised advertising, unless expressly stated and unless the user gives separate consent.
9. Providers and Data Recipients
In connection with the use of cookies, the following providers may be involved in processing:
| Provider | Purpose |

EXOHOSTING provides the technical operation of the website. Hosting server logs may contain technical data such as IP address, date and time of access, browser request or information needed for security and diagnostics. Server logs are not analytics cookies but relate to the technical operation of the website.
We use Google Analytics only after consent to analytics cookies is given.
10. Transfer of Data Outside the EU/EEA
We aim to process personal data primarily within the European Union or the European Economic Area.
However, when using Google Analytics, data may be transferred to third countries, particularly the United States, or accessed by entities outside the EU/EEA.
In such cases, the transfer takes place only on the basis of an appropriate legal mechanism under the GDPR, in particular:

Further information about transfers of personal data outside the EU/EEA is provided in our Privacy Policy.
