From 1 Jan 2027, e-invoicing becomes mandatory in Slovakia. Faktio gets you ready.

Without switching your accounting software.

From 1 January 2027, Slovakia introduces mandatory structured e-invoicing. Pohoda and older Omega don't handle this format natively. Faktio receives your invoice, converts it into the required electronic format, sends it over a certified network and reports it to the Financial Administration, automatically.

A new obligation. The same old software.

From 1 January 2027, every VAT-registered company must issue and receive invoices in a structured electronic format and report them to the Slovak Financial Administration. The accounting systems most Slovak companies use today (Pohoda, KROS, Omega) don't support this format natively. Solutions from large ERP vendors are expensive and complex. Either you convert invoices by hand (unmanageable at volume), or you have your entire accounting rebuilt (expensive and unnecessary). Or you use Faktio.

A bridge between your accounting and the state.

Faktio doesn't replace your accounting software. It sits between it and the state.

1
Receive

Send your invoice the way you're used to: upload a PDF/XML, send it by e-mail, or sync it directly from Pohoda or KROS.

2
Convert and check

Faktio automatically converts it into a structured format (Peppol BIS 3.0 / UBL 2.1) and checks it against the European standard EN 16931. It catches errors before the state does.

3
Send and report

The invoice goes over a certified network to your customer and is reported to the Financial Administration at the same time. You do nothing.

Everything you need to meet the law. Nothing more.

📥
Intake from any source

Manual upload (PDF, XML, ISDOC), an e-mail inbox, or automatic sync from Pohoda and KROS Onix.

Validation against EN 16931

Checks against the European standard and network rules before sending. VAT ID verification via VIES.

🌐
Sending over a certified network

Delivery through a verified Access Point with status tracking: sent → delivered → received.

🏛️
Automatic report to the Financial Administration

Data is reported within the statutory deadline. No manual work.

🗄️
10-year archive

Invoice status, error alerts, upcoming deadlines, all in one place.

Faktio is for you if:

You're a VAT-registered company in Slovakia · You use Pohoda, KROS or Omega · You want to meet the law without switching software and without an expensive implementation · You don't want to deal with technical details, you want it to just work.
